Brought to you by Noble Inns (the people behind Smokehouse, Pig & Butcher and The Princess of Shoreditch), Bad Egg has been rocking Moorgate’s foundations since late 2014.

 

Bad Egg was created when we were designing the brunch menu for Smokehouse and we realised everything we wanted to put on the menu was probably a bit messy for the fairly sophisticated, albeit laid back, atmosphere we had. We had an entire menu we were in love with but nowhere to serve it so we turned our attention to creating that venue!

 

Monday to Friday we offer all day dining from our wide range of breakfast dishes to our all day brunch featuring eclectic hashes, pancakes and some of the best and most interesting burgers in London. Our evenings are more laid back and made for after work chilling with a cold beer and some of Londons best flavours. Friday night is our warm up to the weekend where we offer our ‘Frunch’ Menu (Friday Brunch) from 2.30pm with bottomless Corona, Prosecco, Mimosas and Frozen Slushies.

 

Weekends see Bad Egg turn into the animal it truly is! One of the first to bring bottomless brunch to London our brunch continues to win awards and new fans. Saturday is not for the faint-hearted and we don’t recommend bringing children. Sunday is tamer and much more family friendly!

Our other restaurants

We opened our doors in August 2013 to much critical acclaim and have been winning plaudits ever since. We work with the best farms in the UK and butcher all our meat on site to create an eclectic à la carte menu and a blackboard bursting with low and slow smoked specialities and coal grilled prime cuts.

An Islington institution, our laid back country style pub has been packed since we opened the doors in 2012. We butcher our meat on site and our menu changes daily featuring a cooking style that wouldn’t be out of place in the country kitchens of yesteryear.

After over a decade of learning our trade ‘The Princess’ was our first venture into the world of Entrepreneurship. We learned a lot in the first year and won TimeOut’s ‘Best New Gastropub’ in the second. A proper pub, we serve pub classics and beer in the ground floor bar and an award winning menu in the first floor dining room.
